The beloved festival is back, bringing Ulverston’s full Dickensian charm to life once again. Expect bustling performance stages, enchanting street entertainers, steaming cups of mulled wine, rows of delightful market stalls and vibrant costume parades winding through the town’s historic streets.
It’s the perfect way to step into the Christmas spirit. Dress up in Victorian style if you fancy it, soak up the warm and welcoming atmosphere and enjoy a magical day out for all ages.
Entertainment comes from brass bands, choirs, magicians, fire performers, jugglers, stilt walkers and so much more – almost all of it completely free to enjoy.
While you’re there, take time to explore Ulverston’s traditional shops, artisan businesses, cosy cafés and characterful pubs. The town is proud to support a thriving community of independent traders, along with lively indoor and outdoor markets that make browsing a joy.
