Windermere Marina Village are proud to offer annual and holiday Lake District Moorings for boats up to 50’ in length. Whether you are boating in Windermere on a sailing, sport or steam boat, we have close to 400 moorings to accommodate you and your craft.
Excellent Marina Facilities
When embarking on a Lake District boat holiday, break or visit, you should consider the amenities you require and the availability of such.
Here at Windermere Marina Village, we offer shore-power electricity, TV hook-up, Wi-Fi, showers, laundry and a private slipway. For Marina Berth holders, easy access to a diesel fuel pump is offered by appointment too. If you’ve been thinking about a change or a new lease of life, Sherperds Marine is on site and offers new and used boat sales, as well as servicing.
With stunning surroundings on offer, there’s so much to take in, and there’s no better place to do so than at The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant. A carefully selected and vast range of food is complemented by a variety of drinks that can be enjoyed on one of our two south-facing terraces on those sunny spring and summer days.
Location, Location, Location
Safety and peace is paramount to us, and our Marina moorings are all covered by security patrols. Set off the Eastern shore, our location is the most sheltered place on the lake, allowing you to retain your privacy, as well as enjoying our facilities and your boat holiday, at any time of the year and in any weather.
When it’s time for an explore, leaving our marina entrance by boat gives you a choice of heading North or South; both directions have around 5 miles of cruising waters in front of them with truly magical views. Don’t let undiscovered gems sail away from you; why not stop and drop anchor? This way you can appreciate the many lakeshore pubs and restaurants amongst the large expanses of water that are ideal for wake-boarding and cruising.
Situated half a mile South of Bowness, you are away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to get involved at the drop of a hat. Experience an assortment of boutique clothes and coffee shops, each brimming with individual character, to complete your Windermere break.
