Visitor Moorings

In the spirit of spending most of your days around the magical Lake Windermere, the holiday moorings here at Windermere Marina Village offer you the chance to bring your boat along for a special kind of adventure. You’d certainly be arriving in style if you do so!

Our holiday moorings accommodate vessels up to 26” in length with a maximum draft of 3.6” are are available to holiday rental guests only. Availability is very limited so please contact the reservations team before making your accommodation booking to check availability.

Facilities at Windermere Marina Village

The facilities available for our holiday and visitor moorings make bringing your boat along an even easier decision.

Aside from regularly accommodating sports, sail, fishing and steam boats, we give you the chance to access great extras including a serviced berth within the Marina Village, offering great privacy and security for these moorings. Recovering and launching your boat is effortless with the use of our slipway, saving you precious extra time that can be spent doing what really matters. Windermere Marina Village welcomes arrival by car to our holiday and visitor moorings, and offers trailer parking for the duration of your stay, so after a long day of exploring the lakes and admiring the landscape you can get straight back to your luxury self catering accommodation with no fuss.

Please note that, upon booking, we request a copy of your fully comprehensive boat insurance and your lake registration number.

All power boats must be registered annualy for use on Windermere through the Lake District National Park Authority. Further details, prices and application details can be found here
