In the spirit of spending most of your days around the magical Lake Windermere, the holiday mooring here at Windermere Marina Village offer you the chance to bring your boat along for a special kind of adventure.
You’d certainly be arriving in style if you do so! Our visitor moorings currently accommodate vessels up to 8 meters in length with maximum draft of 1.09 meters. Spaces are very limited so we recommend getting touch with us to check availability before booking your holiday accommodation.

Facilities at Windermere Marina Village
The facilities available for our holiday moorings make bringing your boat along an even easier decision. Aside from regularly accommodating sports, sail, fishing and steam boats, we give you the chance to access great extras including a serviced berth within the Marina Village, offering great privacy and security for these mooring. Recovering and launching your boat is effortless with the use of our slipway, saving you precious extra time that can be spent doing what really matters. Trailer parking is included for your stay, however we recommend bring a lock for your trailer as your trailer will be parked in a separate area from your holiday property parking.
Pricing for HolidayMoorings
Holiday moorings at Windermere Marina Village are available to guests staying in our holiday rental properties, the cost is £25 per night.
The next step is to check availability before booking your break, you can email or call the reservations team on 015394 46551. You’ll also need to register your boat for use on Lake Windermere with the Lake District National Park Authority, either online or calling 01539 724555.
For all boats moored at Windermere Marina Village we require a copy of boat insurance which must be fully comprehensive and LDNPA lake registration number.
