Spotlight On: Windermere Apartments
Windermere is undoubtedly one of the most idyllic locations in the UK, and with a wonderfully rich history, beautiful surroundings and more than enough activities to get yourselves involved in, it’s no wonder that it’s an incredibly popular holiday destination.
We’re lucky to be situated in such a vibrant area, with all of our properties situated within easy travelling distance of the local attractions around Bowness on Windermere. In this, the first of a series of blog posts about our different apartments and cottages, we’re going to take a closer look at our popular and luxurious Windermere Apartments, which provide you with the perfect base for your Lake District holiday.
The Location
Our Windermere Apartments are located on the beautiful marina, just off Lake Windermere. With only a 10-minute walk to the attractions of Bowness on Windermere, our Windermere Apartments are a great choice for those looking to get involved with what the area has to offer.
This walk is even suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, making it the ideal location for those with children or for those who have mobility restrictions.
We’re also situated perfectly for all you foodies; The Boathouse Bar and Restaurant is right next door to the apartments, allowing you access to some of the most delicious, freshest food in the area. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or even an evening meal, you can easily eat at The Boathouse and head back to your apartment to unwind within minutes. There’s plenty for you to do in the area, such as canoeing and kayaking, or heading a little further away from the marina and taking in attractions such as the World of Beatrix Potter or even take a ferry ride out onto the lake itself.

In fact, Apartment 43 is able to sleep up to 10 people, meaning you can all enjoy the views, the location and the comfort under the same roof! If you’re a smaller party, we also have apartments that can sleep up to two people which are equally as spacious and comfortable.
Each apartment also has a state of the art kitchen, perfect for those who love to cook. With ovens, hobs, microwaves and dishwashers, you have everything you need at your disposal to recreate your favourite homecooked meals while on holiday.
