Hawkshead Show

Tuesday 18th August

Set in the picturesque Vale of Esthwaite, an area with ties to both William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, this much-loved agricultural show takes place just north of the charming village of Hawkshead.

Visitors can enjoy a full programme of traditional countryside attractions, including horse classes ranging from miniature breeds to magnificent heavy horses, private driving competitions, and show jumping events. There are also livestock competitions featuring a variety of sheep, cattle, and dogs.

The popular horticultural section is not to be missed, showcasing an impressive display of home produce, flowers, vegetables, arts, and crafts, celebrating the very best of local talent and rural life.
