Cockshot Point – starting from Windermere Marina Village this flat lakeside walk takes you to the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere 

Windermere West Shore Walk – catch the ferry just a few minutes walk from Windermere Marina Village to the start point of this walk, you can make this walk as long or short as you want. A flat walk with endless views of the lake, you can even enjoy a picnic with your family at Wray Castle.

Holehird Gardens – although not a walk like the previous two, Holehird Gardens allows you to view the stunning setting which overlooks Windermere. Throughout the different seasons, you can explore different areas of the beautiful gardens.

World Of Beatrix Potter – Just a 20 minute walk from Windermere Marina Village, in the centre of Bowness is the World Of Beatrix Potter. Perfect for pre school children this interactive attraction has animatronic figures and areas dedicated to each Beatrix Potter tale. With a cafe, live childrens theatre and craft days (At selected times of year) it’s a lovely car free day out – under 2’s are free.
