Half-Term is Nearly Here!
It might still be summer, but you’re probably thinking about getting the kids ready to go back to school (new uniforms, finding P.E. kits, racking your brain for where the lunch boxes went), but perhaps you should also be thinking about how to spend your half-term holiday together as a family.
There are plenty of reasons why you and your family would love to stay with us in Windermere this autumn, read on to find out why.

Why not make it a car free day out and take a Windermere Lake Cruise straight to the Brockhole jetty? Departures run frequently from the Bowness jetty which is just a 15 minute walk from Windermere Marina Village.
Take a Trip To The Lakes Aquarium
The Lakes Aquarium is a fantastic day out for the whole family, with a vast array of fish from around the world on show. The aquarium takes you through a re-created journey below Lake Windermere, through the seashore and then on to a journey around the world, with wildlife from the continents of Asia, the Americas and Africa, before being brought back round to the wildlife you can expect to see in the Lake District.
