Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre

The goal for livestock events at the Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre is to help educate everyone about why the Lake District looks the way it does.

With many experiences on offer such as wool spinning, lamb feeding and a ‘walk and talk’ tour activities change by season check out the website for the latest events.

The Farm Experience show is great for the whole family. Enjoy demonstrations like sheep shearing and sheepdog herding where you’ll see first hand the great talents of our best farmers. Take part in ‘Guess the Sheep Breeds’, meet the loving highland cows and feed some of our cutest lambs!
