Winter At Sizergh

21st November – 24th December 2025

Winter at Sizergh is a magical, family-friendly festive experience featuring an enchanting light and sound trail and an incredible interactive journey inside the castle. Guided by the ghosts of Christmas past, visitors step back in time to explore the rich history of Christmas at Sizergh.

Your adventure begins with a beautifully illuminated walk through the gardens – an atmospheric trail brought to life with a stunning soundscape that adds to the sense of wonder.

The trail leads you to a castle entrance, where the immersive storytelling experience unfolds. Step into three Christmases from years gone by, surrounded by meticulous details: authentic newspapers, cinematic sound design and scenes that transport you through time. It’s brilliantly imaginative and wonderfully executed.

Afterwards, the shop and café stay open late, offering delicious festive treats, including a special Pieminister collaboration, mulled wine, spiced apple juice, mint hot chocolate and seasonal scones.

You’ll also find plenty to keep little ones happy – the barn is filled with creative Christmas crafts for children to enjoy.
