Holker Winter Market

Dates:
Friday 06th November 2026 for 3 days
Time:
10.00 - 16.30

Cartmel

6th – 8th November

Holker Winter Market celebrates its 20th anniversary this year!

Get into the festive spirit at one of the Lake District’s most popular winter events. With over 150 stalls showcasing a wonderful selection of local crafts, handmade gifts, food and drink, there’s plenty to browse and discover throughout the day.

Alongside the market, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, festive activities and tours of the magnificent Holker Hall, making it a great day out for all the family. Whether you’re looking for unique Christmas gifts, delicious local produce or simply want to soak up the festive atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

The Winter Market is a very popular event and can get busy, so we recommend booking your tickets in advance and downloading them before you arrive to make your day as easy as possible. Friday can often be quietest day if you’d prefer to avoid the crowds.

And don’t forget your sturdy footwear! The walk from the car park to the market can be muddy, particularly after wet weather, so sensible shoes or boots are highly recommended.

With the beautiful Holker Estate providing the perfect festive backdrop, the Winter Market is a lovely way to enjoy a winter day in the South Lakes.
