The traditional Hawkhead Christmas Fair returns for another year, with over 50 stalls showcasing local food, drink, crafts and entertainment. Saturday evening features a lantern parade through the village followed by carols in the village church.

This event is popular with locals and tourists alike – arrive early to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy everything the stalls have to offer. An insider tip – skip the queues and take the car ferry to Far Sawrey for the short 4 mile journey to Hawkshead.
